Barbara Hartley Taylor, age 78, of Alamo, GA, passed away Wednesday August 21, 2024, at the Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL.  She was born in Wheeler County, on November 12, 1945, to the late Lowell Cephus and Lillian Eudell Tucker Hartley.  Ms. Taylor worked for many years as district manager for Value Max, and she spent most of her life as a resident of Wheeler County. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Clarence Taylor; brothers: Darrell Hartley and Frankie Hartley; and sister: Loweise Tanner.

Ms. Taylor is survived by her children: Connie Tayler of Towns, Lowell Taylor of Alamo, Robert Taylor (Kathy) of Hazlehurst, Karen Rentz (Timmy) of Hazlehurst, and Stephen Taylor (Kristy) of Bellview, FL; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother: Robert Hartley (Brenda); sister: Lavonia Horne; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Snowhill Baptist Church with a meal to follow for family and friends.
