Mrs. Betsy Elder Leverett, age 72, of Alamo, GA, passed away at her home on Thursday, April 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Ruth Lee Elder on October 10, 1951, in Ashburn, GA. She was a retired real estate agent from a firm in Winter Haven, FL, and a graduate of Turner County High School. Mrs. Leverett was preceded in death by her mother and brother, Mark Elder. She is survived by her husband: Jerry Thomas Leverett Sr.; children: Jerry Thomas Leverett Jr. (Wanda) and Wendy Leverett; grandchildren: Joshua Delarosa, Caleb Leverett, and Rachel Leverett; siblings: Robert Elder Jr. and Dennis Elder (Linda); and sister-in-law: Judy Elder.
