Bobby Eugene Durr age 78 of Alamo, GA, passed away at his home on Thursday, August 8th, 2024. He was born on August 1st, 1946, to the late Helen Phillips and Robert Durr. He grew up in Wheeler county GA, where he was raised by his Uncle Leroy Page and Aunt Beulah Page and grew up with his cousins, Jeanette Page Clements, Leroy Page, and Curtís Page .He was retired from the Jacksonville Shipyard, where he worked for over 30 years. He loved going to the beach with his daughter and granddaughter to look for sharks teeth, he loved spending time with the two of them. Bobby is survived by his daughter Dale “Lynn” Conley and Jon (son-in-law) and his granddaughter Lainee .The Family will have a private service at a later date to lay him to rest in the Harrelson Cemetery in McRae-Helena GA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wheeler County Senior Center in Alamo, GA.
