Christopher Cannon Obituary

Mr. Christopher Michael Cannon, 45, of Alamo, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at his residence. He was born on Thursday, October 6, 1977, in Americus, Georgia, to John Frank Cannon and Patricia Ann Cannon. Mr. Cannon was a graduate of Wheeler County High School, a veteran of the Georgia National Guard and of the United States Army where he served in Iraq, and a member of Alamo First Baptist Church and Wounded Warrior Project. He was preceded in death by his sister: Candace Ramos; paternal grandparents: Joe Clark and Hazel Moore Cannon; and maternal grandparents: Wilburn and Ruby Sellers Edge.

He is survived by his parents; sons: Chandler (Brieanna) Cannon and Kaleb Cannon; three granddaughters, AvaMae, Adelyn, and Briella; step-son: Austin Soles; brother: Spence Cannon; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in honor of Mr. Cannon on February 25, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. at Snowhill Baptist Church with Rev. Randell Tarpley officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at Andersonville National Cemetery.
