Grover Irvin “Skipper” Poole, 39, of Glenwood, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Memorial Health in Savannah, GA. He was born on March 18, 1986, in Indianapolis, IN.  He was employed by N.K. Poole Logging and enjoyed working in the forestry business. Skipper loved to hunt, fish, play pool, and spend time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Martha Poole, and brother, Sandy Poole.  

Skipper is survived by his siblings, Kenneth Poole (Nancy), Christopher Poole (Miechelle), Stacey Poole, Joseph “J.M.” Poole, Genia Poole, Jeanette Coursey, and Timothy Poole, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  

The family will receive friends at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Towns Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 6:00 p.m. in Edge Memorial Cemetery, Glenwood, GA, with Andy Poole officiating.  

The family will be gathering at the home of Kenneth and Nancy Poole.
