Jane Mallory Nix, 76, of Savannah, GA, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Autumn Hill Assisted Living in Fulton, MD.  She was born August 14, 1946, to the late R.B. Mallory Jr. and Millie Weitmon Mallory.  Mrs. Nix was Methodist by faith, attended Agnes Scott College, and enjoyed playing the piano at church and volunteering for various organizations in Savannah.  She was also preceded in death by her loving aunt: Mary Ethelda “Nancy” Pearson, and dear cousins: John and Mary Tyson.   

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Dr. Valerie Nix and Dr. Patrick Murphy; step-grandson: Kieran Murphy; and cousins: Dr. Lynn Tyson-Horton, Dr. Phil Horton, and Mary Beth Horton.

Graveside services for Mrs. Nix will be held in the Alamo City Cemetery Sunday, February 19, 2023, at 2:00 P.M.
