Ms. Kathryn Louise Graham Jackson, age 70, of Alamo, GA passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Regency Hospital in Macon, GA after an extended illness.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2022, at Scotland City Cemetery with Sis. Linda Fowler Johnson officiating.
Ms. Jackson was born May 27, 1951, in Vidalia, GA to the late L.C. and Leona Coleman Graham. She was married to the love of her life William B. Jackson, Jr. for 43 years before his passing in 2012. She was a lifelong resident of Wheeler County, a member of Alamo United Methodist Church, and she worked for many years for RoydenWear before working alongside her husband full-time running Jackson Logging. Ms. Jackson was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, and being with her loved ones was her favorite pastime.
She is survived by two daughters: Wanda Kaye (Clay) Connell of Glenwood and Karen (Eric) Holland of Alamo; six grandchildren: Nikki Connell of Glenwood, Jackson (Candice) Holland of McRae, Andrea (Jagger) Hogue of Alamo, Erin (Ryan) Harrelson of Alamo, Jordan (MaryBeth) Holland of Alamo, and Dakota Connell of Glenwood; great-grandchildren: Judson Harrelson, Braxton Holland, R.J. Harrelson, Blaklyn Holland, and Annie Jo Hogue; and siblings: Nina Garrish of Alamo, Leon (Jane) Graham of Bloomingdale, Margaret Clark of Glenwood, and Mildred (Don) Purvis of Alamo. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Alton “Peewee” Graham.
