Leah Elton

  Mrs.Leah Runelle Elton,age 88, of Milledgeville,GA passed away Wednesday February 2, 2022 at St Mary’ Good Samaritan Hospital in Greensboro,Ga after brief illness.

  A memorial visitation will be held from 2 til 4 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Towns Funeral Home in Alamo.

  She was born November 24,1933 in Telfair County, Georgia.  She was married to Love her Life James Franklin  "Pops" Elton. They raised 3 Boys Kenneth, Karl and Keith in Alamo. 

  Ms, Runelle worked at  Oxford Shirt factory for many years then became a LPN worked years at McRae Manor Nursing Home, Wheeler County Hospital and retired in 2009.

  Runelle was a beloved Mother,friend,Wife,Sister and Grandmother. 

 She has lived the past 15 years in Milledgeville with her "Babydoll"   Le Anne and family who were the apples of her eye. She loves spending time with her all grandkids and dogs. 

  She is survived by beloved Granddaughter Le Anne Thompson (Brian) of Milledgeville,Ga and  family friend Tara "Steven" Langford of Eatonton,Ga; 

Great-Grandkids: Sebastian & Logan Thompson of Millegeville,Ga Rusty & Chelsea Poole of Stuckey,Ga , Heaven Clutter of Millegeville,Ga,Alysha Carroll (Charlie) & Jade Tarrant (Adam) of Tifton,Ga

Great-Great Grandkids: Carson& Cody Tarrant, MaKenzie& Aubrey Carroll all of Tifton,Ga , Aurora,Zantana,Scarlet,Lila Langford & Aeris,Texan Edwards all  of Eatonton,Ga 

  She preceded in Death by Her Husband James  "Pops" Elton, Sons, Kenneth, Karl, and Keith Elton;Daughter-in law Nancy R Powell Elton;Granddaughter Michelle Poole and Great-Great Grandson Cayson Tarrant  

Siblings O.C., Frank,Phillip, Bill Smith & WyleneClarke ,Myrtle Greene

and Parents Mr & Mrs Smith.
