Obituary
Linda Ann Johnson, 77, of Wheeler County, passed away April 4, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of White Springs Baptist Church and a retired employee of the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services. She was born January 3, 1945, to the late Henry James and Anna Ruth Burnette Johnson in Laurens County, GA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Maurice Johnson and Hollis Johnson. She leaves behind one sister: Elene Griffith; one brother: Gene Johnson (Betty); and several loving nieces and nephews.
Ms. Johnson's family will be receiving friends at Towns Funeral Home, Tuesday, April 5, 2022, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 6. 2022, at White Springs Baptist Church, 1391 White Springs Church Rd., Glenwood, GA 30428, with interment following in the church cemetery.
The family requests that donations be made to White Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in lieu of flowers: c/o Sharon Hart 3913 GA Hwy 19 South, Glenwood, GA 30428.
