Ms. Nancy K. Knowles, 81, of Fernandina Beach, FL, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Dublin, GA after an extended illness. She was born August 16, 1940, in Charleston, WV to the late Floyd and Christine Young Robertson.  Ms. Knowles enjoyed old gospel hymns and loved shopping, especially for shoes and purses.  She also loved strawberries and had quite an extensive collection to show for it. 

Ms. Knowles is survived by two children: Tina (Greg) Gilder and Scott (Erica) Knowles; seven grandchildren: Garrett Waters, Gregory Waters, Gage (Nickole) Waters, Stan Knowles III, Rebecca Knowles, E.J. (Alison) Gilder, and Hannah (Dalton Poole) Gilder; and seven great-grandchildren: Rylan, Kristen, Lailey, Granger, Jim, Isadora, and Hadley.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband: Stan Knowles.  The family would like to give special thanks and much love to Brian Gilder for his kindness and compassion toward Ms. Knowles and her family.
