Mr. Neal Wayne Champion, 74, of Dublin, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Fairview Park Hospital, in Dublin, GA. He was born December 15, 1946 to the late Delbert Alvin and Quinda Champion. Mr. Champion was retired from Dublin Construction. His favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing, and most especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Champion is survived by his children: Gary Wayne Champion (Alma) of Dublin and Beverly Champion Ussery (Steve) of Dublin; grandchildren: Jessica Ussery, David Ussery (Jordan), Cynthia Bland (Robbie), Rebecca White, Blanca Murphy (Chris), and Leann Ussery; great-grandchildren: Ethan Ussery, Hunter Bland, Mason Bland, Colton Bland, Dracen Ussery, Jayce Ussery, Daxton Ussery, Lucas Ussery, Jorja Bracewell, Dorian Bracewell, Madison Murphy, and Sophia Murphy; brother: Buddy Champion (Mary) of Alamo; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Rachel White Champion; and eleven brother and sisters.
A graveside service in honor of Mr. Champion will be held 11:00 A.M. at the Alamo City Cemetery, Friday, September 3, 2021 with Rev. Eschol Ryals officiating.
