Sara Simmons Obituary

Sara Lynn Belflower Simmons, 53, of McRae-Helena, passed away Monday, November 07, 2022, at Memorial Health in Savannah, GA. She was born August 26, 1969, to the late Bertice and Eva Mae Brady Belflower. Mrs. Simmons worked for many years as a caregiver and was a member of Greater Vision Church. She was an avid Georgia Bulldog and Nascar fan, and she enjoyed listening to music and attending races at the Cochran Motor Speedway. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Simmons is survived by her son: Joshua Simmons; siblings: Richard Belflower (Judi) of Alamo, Gene Belflower (Sara) of Alamo, Lillie Belflower (Wendell) of Alamo, and Laura Mancio (Marcos) of Dublin; significant other: Richard Perez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will be receiving friends Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Towns Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Funeral service for Mrs. Simmons will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Greater Vision with Pastor Troy Maddox Jr. officiating.
