Susanne Grimes Obituary

Susanne Grimes, 55, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at her home in Alamo, GA. She was born December 21, 1967, to the late Ronald William and Shirley Brown Grimes. She was a lifelong resident of Wheeler County and a former employee of Telfair County School Systems. She enjoyed long walks in the outdoors, watching crime shows on television, and spending time with her family.

Ms. Grimes is survived by her two sons: Dalton Grimes (Gabrielle) of Alamo and Dylan Taylor of Uvalda; three step-granddaughters: Lily, Elice, and Emma; one granddaughter expected in October: Evelynn; sisters: Lisa Floyd of Alamo and Ronda Dayhoff of McRae; and caregiver: Janice Floyd of Alamo.

A private memorial service will be held at the Alamo Methodist Church at a later date. Flowers can be delivered to Towns Funeral Home. However, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, condolences be expressed by making a donation towards funeral expenses.
