Wendy Renae Clark Norfleet, 41, of Alamo, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Fairview Park Hospital, in Dublin, GA following a motor vehicle accident. She was born September 14, 1979 in McRae, GA and was a graduate of Wheeler County High School.  She attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and graduated from Kaplan Financial Education.  She was employed by the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice as a counselor at the Eastman YDC, and attended Liberty Baptist Church in Lyons, GA.  Wendy especially enjoyed art, photography, animals, music, traveling to the beach and mountains, farm life, and riding horses.  Her sweet smile and gentle spirit will be missed, but forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.   

She is survived by her daughter: Alexis Hendricks of Alamo; husband: Mitchell Norfleet of Lyons; mother: Joy Browning Clark of Alamo; father and step-mother: Neal and Donna Clark of Hawkinsville; brother: John Clark of Alamo; sister: Kimberly Williams of Alamo; step-sons: Joshua Norfleet and Ethan Norfleet of Vidalia; step-daughter: Madeline Allen of Washington; grandmother: Lizzie Loraine Browning of Vidalia; niece: Kiaya Huerta; nephews: Kale Huerta, Trace Clark, Austin Williams III; step-sisters: Courtney King, Caitlyn Rodgers, and Chloe Rodgers of Hawkinsville; aunts and uncles: Faye Parker, Malcolm Browning, Sandra McNeal, and Donald Floyd; and numerous cousins.  She was preceded by her grandparents: Willie Strickland Clark, John Walter Clark, and Wiley Browning; aunt: Jan Browning Willhite; and uncle: Jackie Floyd.

Visitations will be held from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Tuesday, June 29th and 9 A.M. – 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, June 30th at Towns Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow in the Clark Family Cemetery on Clark Cemetery Rd., Alamo, GA at 11 A.M. with Rev. W.R. Connell and Rev. James Fennell officiating.  Donations can be submitted to Towns Funeral Home for Alexis Hendricks' education fund.
