Willie Fred Clark Obituary

Willie Fred Clark, 82, of Glenwood, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024, at Community Hospice in Vidalia, GA.  He was born November 10, 1941, to the late Curtis Alonzo and Loreta Pearl Screws Clark.  Mr. Clark served in the United States Air Force and worked Oxford Manufacturing before retiring.  He owned and operated Clark’s Grocery in Glenwood, GA, for many years, enjoyed fishing, gardening, riding his golf cart with his dog, Lucky, and tinkering on a variety of machinery and equipment. Mr. Clark loved and cared for his family with the utmost of devotion.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Dona Lavonia Graham Clark; daughter: Tina Guzman; grandson; Seth Clark; and siblings: Arthur Clark, Herman Clark, William Clark, and David Clark.


 Mr. Clark is survived by his children: Danny Clark (Melissa) of Glenwood, and Valorie Phillips (Jason) of Dublin; grandchildren: Sage Clark (Allie), Sheldon Clark, Selah Clark, Hannah Hernandez (Anselmo Jr.), Graham Phillips, and Ashlyn Phillips Williams (Darius); nine great-grandchildren; and siblings: Lester Clark Sr. of Uvalda and Minnie Jean (Evelt) of FL. 


 A memorial service will be held in honor of Mr. Clark at 11:00 A.M. in the Edge Cemetery in Glenwood, GA, on October 24, 2024.
